Union Public Service Commission:

 (UPSC) is looking for experienced Indian Nationals for the recruitment to 980 Officers positions through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (CSE) 2017.

Candidates are required to apply Online from 22-02-2017 to 17-03-2017. Before filling online, candidates should ensure that fully fill eligibility and other norms mentioned in the notification.

Candidates must have scanned copy of their recent passport photograph & signature and valid Email Id, Mobile No.

Age Limit:

between 21-32 years as on 01-08-2017 (i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1985 and not later than 01-08-1996).

Qualification:

Degree or possess an equivalent qualification.

Important Dates :

Starting date of online: 22-02-2017.

Last date for Payment of Fee through Off Line: 16-03-2017.

Last date for Payment of Fee through Online: 17-03-2017.

Closing date of online: 17-03-2017.

Date for Preliminary Exam: 18-06-2017.

Date for Main Exam: October, 2017.

Selection Process :                                           

Selection will be based on Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination (Written and Interview). Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry of 400 marks. Those candidates will qualify in Preliminary Examination they will be called for Main Examination.

Main written examination will consists of 9 papers of conventional essay type in the subjects given in notification out of which two papers will be of qualifying nature.

Final selection will be based on total marks obtained by the candidates in Main Examination and Interview.

Fee Structure :

Application fee of Rs.100/- for General & OBC candidates is to be paid by Online or offline. No fee for SC/ ST Candidates.

How to Apply :

Interested candidates possessing required eligibility may apply online from 22-02-2017 to 17-03-2017 .Candidates must read all instruction carefully about meeting eligibility criteria and other norms.

Candidates must fill all detail carefully in the online form and upload their scanned copy passport size photograph and signature. After successful completion of online form ,candidates should take a print out of the application and keep for future use only.

No need to send any hard copy.
